The Bun Defence Network
The Network is everything that watches: the Operations Centre, which intercepts every mention of “bun” on Hacker News and Bluesky as it happens, and the Coastal Bun Watch, whose camera posts look over the coast at Molde and the roads inland through Surnadal. This board is their status.
What is live
- Posts reporting counts the camera posts whose picture has changed recently (within 20 minutes; an hour for Yr's slower cameras). A post that has stopped turns red on the schematic.
- The Operations Centre card shows how many Bluesky posts said “bun” in the last 24 hours, out of all of them.
- The sector cards show the latest picture from one post, the temperature and the next ferry.
The schematic is a diagram, not a map: it shows which posts belong to which sector, not where they stand. Add ?wall to the address for a kiosk.
