The Coastal Bun Watch: Surnadal sector
A bun that lands in Molde has two ways inland: the E39 ferries at Halsa, and the valley road through Surnadal. These posts watch both, around the clock. Detection is by eye. No bun has been confirmed. The Molde sector watches the coast.
What is live
- Post 1 looks over the Surnadal valley (Yr). There is no live video in the sector, so every post is a still.
- Posts 2 to 6 are Fv65 Nordmarka and the ferry quay at Halsa (Statens vegvesen), Surnadal (Yr), Valsøyfjorden on the E39 (Statens vegvesen) and Duvåsen above Rindal (Svorka). Every post is a public camera still, fetched by our own server every two minutes so your browser never contacts the camera owners. Each says when its picture last changed; a camera that stops is marked in red.
- Conditions: the forecast for Surnadal and Molde and the sea temperature off Halsa (MET Norway, CC BY 4.0), high and low tide at Surnadalsøra (Kartverket) and the next ferries from Kvanne and Halsa (Entur).
