The Morale Reel
Prolonged exposure to round bread wears personnel down. The Committee therefore keeps a reel of short, approved footage, screened in random order to anyone in need of recovery. Each clip is inspected frame by frame before it is cleared. None of them contains a bun.
How the reel works
- Every clip plays at least seven seconds, looping if it is short, and never more than twenty-five.
- The order is shuffled. No clip is shown twice until the whole reel has run.
- Field footage was filmed by our own personnel. The rest is archive material.
- The reel is silent, so it can run in an operations room without complaint.
